On the occasion of both Youth Day and the traditional Chinese solar term of Lixia, our company hosted its fifth Fun Sports Day at Yancheng's Damagou Ecological Park. The year 2020 proved particularly extraordinary, as people endured oppression, suffering and calamity, yet also witnessed life's resilience, collective resolve and shared perseverance through adversity. Throughout this battle without gunpowder, Yancheng Limin's colleagues remained steadfast in their anti-pandemic efforts, resolutely embodying the spirit of patriotic, enterprising, and tenacious youth in the new era through diligent work. To ignite enthusiasm among our colleagues and foster a balanced approach to work and life, employees from the Yancheng office organised this fifth Fun Sports Day. The event was hosted by Cui Yanglei from the Marketing Centre and Wang Yanhui from the Finance Department.
The festivities commenced with team formation and presentations. Following a brief warm-up, distinctive squads emerged: the New Youth Squad, the Glory Squad, and the Fearless Squad.

The first team activity was: passing water bottles. For this activity, each group formed a circle. Each participant held a bottle of water in their left hand and passed it counter-clockwise to the next person. The recipient had to catch it; failure to do so resulted in penalty points. This activity tested agility in switching hands and reaction speed. After this round, the points scored by each group showed a noticeable disparity.

The second team activity was: Weaving Through. The first person began weaving through the line in an S-shape, with the group eventually returning to its original formation. This activity similarly tested teamwork. Following this round, the New Youth Team held a provisional lead. The third team-building activity was Blindfolded Water Collection. Working in pairs, one participant carried the other across to retrieve water. Upon return, they poured it into a mineral water bottle. Once the first pair completed this, the second pair set off to collect water, and so on. This sequence tested strength and coordination. After the competition, the New Youth Team maintained their commanding lead. The event unfolded in a light-hearted and entertaining manner, with laughter filling the venue throughout.

The final exhibit was the egg painting competition. Each participant painted on an eggshell, with no restrictions on subject matter. Entries were required to convey positive themes, showcasing the vibrant spirit of youth. After comprehensive judging, a vividly rendered yellow dragon soaring through the clouds claimed the top prize.

The grand finale of the event was a barbecue gathering. Set against a natural dining backdrop, participants showcased their skilled grill techniques amidst an array of fresh ingredients, enjoying a relaxed and liberating barbecue experience. Hands-on and thoroughly contemporary, it embodied the essence of modern living. Team members collaborated seamlessly, fully embracing the art of living. Savouring earthly delights, they embraced the joy of life!

Finally, Mr Guo presented awards to the outstanding participants of this event. The activity concluded successfully. Through this event, we trust that the Limin family members have released the pressures accumulated from their recent work, and will now channel greater enthusiasm into their subsequent tasks. With renewed focus, they will strive diligently for the second half of the year!
