This fungicide is a combination of pyrimethanil and dietofencarb: 16% dietofencarb + 10% pyrimethanil. Diethofencarb belongs to the phenoxypyrimidine class of fungicides and inhibits the formation of spore spindles in Botrytis cinerea, demonstrating effective control against Botrytis cinerea resistant to conventional fungicides. Pyrimethanil, an anilinopyrimidine fungicide, has a unique mechanism of action: inhibiting the production of pathogenic enzymes, thereby preventing infection and killing the pathogen. It is effective against Botrytis cinerea resistant to commonly used non-anilinopyrimidine fungicides. The combination combines systemic, protective, therapeutic, and fumigative properties, rapidly reaching lesions after spraying, providing effective control of Botrytis cinerea on all crop parts. This water-dispersible granule formulation offers an advanced formulation, rapid disintegration in water, and easy absorption and utilization by crops. It is also rarely approved for use and is highly effective against resistant Botrytis cinerea.
