READ MOREChemical Name: (E)-(RS)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)pent-1-en-3-ol)
CAS number: 83657-22-1
Physical and Chemical Properties: The technical product is a white solid. Its melting point is 162-163°C, vapor pressure is 8.9×10 Pa (20°C), and relative density is 1.28. It is soluble in various organic solvents, including acetone, methanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and dimethylformamide, but poorly soluble in water (8.41 mg/L). Its melting point is 159-160°C, and it can last for over two years when stored at 20°C.
Uses: Uniconazole is a broad-spectrum, highly effective plant growth regulator with both bactericidal and herbicidal properties. It is a gibberellin synthesis inhibitor. It controls vegetative growth, inhibits cell elongation, shortens internodes, dwarfs plants, promotes lateral bud growth and flower bud formation, and enhances stress resistance.
